Denis Villeneuve, raise and praise the man, and Mr. Villeneuve, or we shall call him Sir Villeneuve from now on, manages to deliver a performance of a lifetime as a creator, as a director for Dune Part Two.
The makers lifted the curtain for some journalists and reviewers to witness the creation, and they are awestruck, they are amused. Dune Part Two’ is worth every hype, it is worth every day that you waited, at least that’s how exciting the early reviews are.
Firstly, most of the viewers didn’t think twice before praising Timothee Chalamet, and some even predict that Dune Part Two can be for Chalamet what ‘Titanic’ did for Leonardo DiCaprio. Though the man has been a constant hit machine, especially with something like Wonka, it was suspected that Wonka’s success would put a lot of pressure on this. Timothee just hit it off the park.
There is so much to be said about #DunePartTwo given this is a near-perfect film. But perhaps the film’s greatest achievement is Timothee Chalamet. Chalamet gives an inspiring, memorable performance that in many ways could do for Chalamet what Titanic did for Leonardo DiCaprio. I… pic.twitter.com/pomkdWFIUc

He is definitely the next big thing of the industry, the next DiCaprio? Time will tell.
Even some are calling it the best performance of Zendaya as well, and if you consider ‘Euphoria,’ her performance there is definitely hard to beat. Even personally, Zendaya’s performance in part one looked a bit timid, but as the reviews state, she manages to conquer it in Part Two.
MORE on #DunePartTwo - imo this film features the best performances we have seen from Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya. Austin Butler is full psycho in all the best ways and Javier Bardem delivers such a rich, soulful performance. The ensemble is strong in #Dune but they level way… pic.twitter.com/sjlSJPDCEj

Rebecca Ferguson or your Lady Jessica’s performance is also being highly praised by the critics. Some say that she manages to steal the show. She already had a strong performance in the first part, but the second one might put her on the podium.
Even the film is so great in nature, some are complaining about the runtime, and for all the good reasons. Collider’s Steven Weintraub channels that he would be glad to watch one hour more, over the 2 hour 40 min runtime.
In a shock to no one, I absolutely loved #Dune2. Incredible filmmaking. Brilliant score. Entire cast was excellent. My only complaint was I wish it was longer. Not joking around. The movie is 2hr and 40 min(?) and I would have been happy to watch another hour. pic.twitter.com/6PZmfQTEAH

And talking about direction, can you really name a Villeneuve film that disappointed in the aspect of visuals? Probably there is none, and Dune Two solidifies the case and probably makes him a grand competition of Wes Anderson, though very different in manner and matter, is excellent neither the less.
#DunePartTwo is a giant epic, a masterclass of crafts from Greig Fraser’s exceptional photography to Patrice Vermette’s magnificent world building. Denis Villeneuve has delivered his magnus opus directing one of the best sci-fi films for generations to come. pic.twitter.com/Vvfs8YeFIi

Again, though might look a bit repetitive, it can be as grand as Star Wars, some things you can’t really express through words.
Some of the visuals in Dune: Part Two had me so astonished, I feel like I understand how everyone felt seeing Star Wars for the first time back in 1977. It’s just unbelievable at times.

In terms of sci-fi, the performances twig the debate that Dune Part Two can be one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time? It might possibly be, ticks all the boxes. Not only spectacular in the categories of visuals but perfects the craft of storytelling as well.
Even in the opinion of Scott Menzel, “Dune: Part Two” elevates the cinematic experience, surpassing its predecessor with larger scale, deeper characters, and stunning craftsmanship. Villeneuve stays faithful to the source material while leaving his mark on the narrative. Standout performances from Austin Butler and Florence Pugh enrich the story.
While the cliffhanger ending leaves anticipation for the trilogy’s conclusion, Villeneuve’s mastery ensures excitement and appreciation for the journey. IMAX viewing is recommended to fully immerse in the film’s craftsmanship.
Dune: Part Two is truly an awe-inspiring cinematic achievement; one that continues to advance and build upon the world that Denis Villeneuve and company have exquisitely created, crafted and shaped.

And the Score, it was praised in all aspects, managed to deliver and go along with the grandeur.
DUNE: PART TWO is unlike anything we’ve seen before, yet familiar all the same. With a consistently impressive use of score and sound, it features transformative performances from Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler. An adrenaline rush of cinematic proportions.#DuneMovie pic.twitter.com/wa7AfIGgcX
