The series focuses on the origins of the Bene Gesserit.
Before the creation of these Bene Gesserits a war between technology and humanity took place, although humans own the battle but they had to transform the information somewhere.
Thus they created a Sisterhood of Bene Gesserits who went through rigorous physical and mental training, but the only catch was the information can only flow through mother to daughter bloodline.
The series follows sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen as they combat forces that threaten the future of humanity.
If you keenly remember “Dune Part 2” there it reveals that Jessica, Paul’s mother, was actually a Harkonnen born.
The reason behind it is that “Bene Gesserits” are actually created by the Harkonnens.
This American science fiction television series is developed by Diane Ademu-John and Alison Schapker, to serve as a prequel to “Dune”.
Emily Watson will play the role of Valya Harkonnen, who is actually the leader of the cult and Olivia Williams as Tula Harkonnen, Valya’s sister.
But for the Indian audience “Dune Prophecy” is bringing a surprise, and that is Tabu as Sister Francesca, who was the emperor’s former lover and now she is back to reclaim her power.
