After a trademark Rajkumar Hirani style first teaser aka drop 1 for Shah Rukh Khan led ‘Dunki’, drop 2 is now out and it’s a romantic track called ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’. The much awaited ‘Dunki’ is set to release in theatres on 21st December, 2023.
‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ is a song about how Hardy (Shah Rukh Khan) is smitten by Manu (Taapsee Pannu) when she stands up for him against the world. Shah Rukh’s happy go lucky dance moves and the song itself feel like a celebration of falling deeply and madly in love.
Sung by Arijit Singh with lyrics from Swanand Kirkire and IP Singh and music by Pritam, ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ is a song that gives those 90s vibes and makes you nostalgic with its simplistic yet catchy tune and lyrics.
A comedy drama film based on an illegal inmigration technique called ‘Donkey Flight’, ‘Dunki’ is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani who has co-written the screenplay with Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon.
Produced by Gauri Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and Jyoti Deshpande, ‘Dunki’ stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, Dharmendra, Satish Shah, Parikshit Sahni, and Jyoti Subhash among others.
Pritam has given music for ‘Dunki’. C K Muraleedharan handles the cinematography for the film with editing by Rajkumar Hirani. A joint production of Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films, ‘Dunki’ will release worldwide in cinemas on 21st December, 2023.
