Zee5 is playing aggressively these days. They are coming up with a lot of originals, streaming rights, and whatnot.
They recently saw a huge success in the name of Janhit Mein Jaari. The Nushrratt Bharuchha starrer gained appreciation and buzz from the audience.
Duranga is the Indian adaptation of the hit Korean series called “Flower Of Evil”. It is led by Gulshan Devaiah, Drashti Dhami, Abhijit Khandkekar, Divya Seth Shah, and more of the cast.
Flower of Evil is a highly popular Korean series that is also streaming in India on MX Player, that too for free.
It will be a great challenge for Zee5 to emulate the success of Flower Of Evil as it has gained a sort of cult following amongst the masses.
It is about a man who appears to be a perfect family man. He is a loving husband, a caring father, and a typical gentleman. Little do the close associates know that he is living a dual life. On his darker side, he is a psychopath who is fearsome.
But the officer behind him is his own wife who is clueless about the devil who lies within the man she stays with.
And perhaps that justifies the title “Duranga”. In Hindi, it means something or someone with two colors.
