Two stalwarts of the Bengali film industry are coming together as a couple in a new film. ‘Ei Raat Tomar Amar’ will star Anjan Dutta and Aparna Sen in leading roles. The movie is being directed by actor-director Parambrata Chattopadhyay.
The movie will be the second feature film from Hoichoi after ‘Swapankumar Badami Hayenar Kobole’. It will hit the theaters on the 30th of August and premiere on the platform on September 6th. Anjan Dutta and Aparna Sen are two of the most respected actors of the industry because they have proved their mastery again and again not just in the field of acting but in direction, writing, music and so on. They are the directors of some of the most memorable Bengali and Hindi films. Aparna Sen has directed films like ‘The Japanese Wife’, ‘Yugant’, ‘15 Park Avenue’, ‘Mr. & Mrs. Iyer’ and more, while Anjan Dutta is known for ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’, ‘Dutta VS Dutta’, ‘Hemanta’, ‘Seven’ etc. It will be great to watch these two mature actors romancing each other.
They have previously shared screen in movies like ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ and ‘Ek Din Achanak’ but it will be their first film as the lead couple. The title ‘Ei Raat Tomar Amar’ is taken from the iconic song by Hemant Kumar and gives a hint that the movie will probably be about the rediscovery of love.
The movie comes to Hoichoi on September 6th.
