A second tease of the Breaking Bad spin-off movie, El Camino has been released on the sidelines of Emmy Awards that concluded recently. It shows the first glimpse of the real star of the film, Jesse Pinkman played by Aaron Paul.
While the first teaser asked about the whereabouts of Jesse, the second shows a glimpse of him. It looks like an immediate follow-up to the climax of Breaking Bad. The voiceover heard through the police radio gives us all the details that are necessary for the setup of the plot of El Camino.
Jesse Pinkman is on the run, and the cops are behind him. The intensity has been neatly escalated from the first teaser to the second one. The stakes are set, and we are already rooting for the character of Jesse. People already want him to succeed despite not knowing exactly the extent of the threat he faces.
Vince Gilligan, the creator behind the Breaking Bad series and now El Camino, is doing a terrific job in building the anticipation. El Camino premieres in cinemas in select theatres and streams online on Netflix from October 11.
