Netflix has dropped the trailer for ‘Elite’ season 7 and this season promises to be even more tumultuous than ever before. ‘Elite’ season 7 will premiere only on Netflix on 20th October, 2023.
In this new season, Omar is living a new life at the university and far away from Las Encinas, but he is unable to move on. The guilt he feels for Samuel’s death and the suffering from that period are still very much present, leading him to undergo therapy. Thanks to an internship, he decides to return to the school where everything happened to confront his demons face to face.
Through Omar’s journey the viewers will discover that the rest of the students are also silently battling their own hells. Elite’s season 7 will tackle mental health and how it’s mostly neglected out of fear or ignorance.
‘Elite’ season 7 will have Ana Bokesa, André Lamoglia, Valentina Zenere, Álvaro de Juana, Carmen Arrufat, Álex Pastrana, Ander Puig and Nadia Al Saidi. Omar Ayuso will also make his return to Las Encinas. New members joining the cast are Mirela Balić, Maribel Verdú, Gleb Abrosimov, Leonardo Sbaraglia, and Fernando Líndez.
‘Elite’ is created by Carlos Montero (The Mess You Leave Behind, Physics or Chemistry) and Jamie Vaca (Cable Girls, A Different View). Season 7’s episodes will be directed by Lino Escalera (High Seas), Menna Fité (Welcome to Eden), Roger Gual (Fanático) and Ana Vázquez (Zorras). ‘Elite’ season 7 will launch on Netflix globally on 20th October, 2023.
