The Spanish series “Elite” on Netflix had hooked series lovers right from the first season. The teen drama elements with a school premise and rivalry between the characters which induce nail biting moments had won a large fan base for the series. Now it has reached to the 5th season which was confirmed to air on April 8th. With a couple of weeks to go, Netflix has released a new trippy clip where the cast chanting “Break Free” and each of them revealing their inhibitions that they wish to break.
The filming of the season 5 began in 2021 February and was wrapped up on 15 June. The series has also added a few new faces like Valentina Zenere as Isadora, André Lamoglia as Iván and Adam Nourou as Bilal and Isabel Garrido in an undisclosed role.
The fourth season ended with many questions unanswered. The arrival of a new principal and his kids Ari, Mencia and Patrick and Ari facing the death had left the fans on edge. The new clip revealed today probably points to the tone of the new series in which we can see the main cast’s urge to break free from all the negative notions inside them.
Netflix had confirmed season five of Elite right after the premier of the fourth season which itself indicates the popularity of the show. Fans are eagerly waiting for the show to hit on Netflix on April 8th.
