Emily In Paris is the upcoming series that will premiere on Netflix today. This is an American show that revolves around the life of Emily who happens to be in Paris.
She is in her twenties and hails from Chicago, and moves to Paris for some job opportunities.
The show started in October last year with the first season.
It is a very relatable story for those who are living in foreign countries. Subconsciously we belong to our native land and things may be completely different, let alone the opposite in some foreign countries.
There it takes time for us to adjust to the new environment. It is exactly the case with Emily. Lily Collins plays the character of Emily Cooper and she does that pretty well.
Emily in Paris is expected to bring an American point of view to a French marketing firm. But things turn ugly when she and people around her encounter a culture clash.
But the trailer of the second season gives us some new hope. Emily is ready to learn, make mistakes, fall in love and respect herself.
Regardless, the show will premiere at 1:30 p.m. in India. Whether it turns out to be worthy will be clear as early as tonight.
