The teaser for the much anticipated Tamil action thriller movie ‘Enemy‘ is out and it looks like the out-and-out action movie that the posters promised us. With some heavy action sequences, stunts and great locales, the teaser definitely has the viewers wanting more! The teaser seems very crisp and the message is clear- ‘The most dangerous enemy in the world is a friend who knows everything about you’. So it looks like there is a deep history of enmity perhaps stemming from a valuable friendship. We’ll have to wait and watch if this is a story of deceit or there is something beyond what meets the eye!
Directed by Anand Shankar, the film features Vishal and Arya in the lead with Mirnalini RaviMamta Mohandas, and Prakash Raj in important roles.
The intense first looks released earlier set the tone of the film, leaving fans in a tizzy, unable to wait to see the clash between the two offscreen friends!
This is the second time that Arya and Vishal are coming together for a film. They had previously shared screen space in director Bala’s 2011 action drama Avan Ivan.
While they were friends in that film, they are reportedly dead against each other in ‘Enemy’! It was also reported earlier that the two actors had shot some extensive action sequences in Dubai for the film’s last schedule that lasted a month. On 23rd April, post wrapping up the film’s last shoot, director Anand Shankar had taken to social media to update the fans of the status. Actor Arya had responded by saying, “It was a pleasure working with you brother. Loved ur energy and filming style.. Vera level! hoping to work with u again soon”.
While Vishal’s last release was Chakra, Arya is basking in the glory of Sarpatta Parambarai, that has been very well received and his performance praised to the moon. It is to be seen if he is able to recreate the magic!
