Enola Holmes 2 Early Reviews Call It A Delightful Thrill Ride

Millie Bobby Brown shines again! The highly anticipated Netflix follow-up, Enola Holmes 2, is less than a week away from hitting the streaming service. However, the sequel’s early reactions have surfaced on social media, thanks to those lucky critics who watched the film before its worldwide premiere.

Early reviews have called Enola Holmes 2 a satisfying sequel to its 2020 predecessor. The chemistry between the on-screen brother-sister duo of Brown’s Enola and Henry Cavill’s Sherlock has received special praise. Several critics have declared their connection the best thing about the film.

Based on the young adult fiction novel series by Nancy Springer, the Enola Holmes film series expands Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional universe of Sherlock Holmes. Netflix picked up the franchise after the first film failed to get a theatrical release due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Producer and star Millie Bobby Brown openly expressed her desire to see herself in an Enola Holmes sequel after the huge success of the first entry back in September 2020. Seven months later, Netflix officially greenlighted the sequel.
