The Boys creator, Eric Kripke, has confirmed that Season 4 will not be the last entry.
Kripke made the announcement via Twitter and provided fans with the upcoming season’s production update. The filming for Season 4 started in August last year. Additionally, the creator revealed that the production of Season 4’s finale has commenced, titled “Assassination Run”.

No official plot details have been released yet for The Boys Season 4. But the last season’s finale gave us a pretty good idea about the things that may happen in the forthcoming entry.
First, we all know that Victoria Neuman wants to become the Vice President as her opposition is no more, thanks to The Deep and Homelander. She already possesses the ability to pop people’s heads. With VP’s powers, she can wreak havoc on a scale hitherto undreamt of (Sorry, Doctor Strange!).
We also know that Butcher doesn’t have much time as he is still suffering the horrible side effects of Temp V. It will be interesting to see how he deals with this situation. Without him, the show is incomplete! Also, Starlight has become a full-fledged member of ‘The Boys’.
How can we forget about Homelander? He hasn’t changed at all. And we can expect him to remain as unhinged as he was in previous seasons. However, the arrival of Ryan in his life may change him a bit. After all, he is his father.
Will Ryan be able to change Homelander? Or will he become as evil as his biological father?
Speaking of father, we also have to discuss Soldier Boy. He is Homelander’s father, guys! What role will he play in Season 4? Will he team up with Butcher again to destroy his deranged and menacing supe son? Or will he become a bigger threat than Homelander himself? We know what he is capable of. He almost killed Maeve in Season 3’s finale and stripped her of her powers. Also, his powers have grown.
It is clear that the show still has a long way to go. So many storylines and characters from the comics are yet to be explored. Plus, it is one of Prime Video’s flagship shows. This is why we should expect more seasons of ‘The Boys’ in future. Stay tuned for more updates.
