Eros now has created a stellar line-up for the coming year and Bawri Chhori is one of the latest titles that is announced by the streaming platform. Bawri Chhori stars Ahana Kumra in the lead role as a woman who is still bitter about her past.
Eros Now’s Bawri Chhori is a coming-of-age story which is a concept by the creators of films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Nil Battey Sannata, and Killa which are all unique gems in their own right. Radhika (Aahana Kumra) is dead set on a path for revenge against the man who made her life miserable.
Throughout the trailer of Bawri Chhori, one can see the angst and frustration on her face as she devises several ways to threaten and kill her husband but receives setbacks as people refuse to take her seriously.
There are instances in our past which scar our lives so much that we never seem to recover from them and even though we hear quotes or lectures about how we should just move on, things are never usually that simple.
We tend to cling on to the past and that can have a very toxic effect on us and Bawri Chhoriis a fitting example of the lengths to which a person can go to quench this thirst for revenge. It seems like a dark tragedy that has tried to mask itself in the garb of a comedy so that the film has a lighter tone to it.
