After Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ successful run at the box office, Marvel Studios is ready for the release of another phase four film ‘Eternals’ in India. Helmed by Academy Award winning director Chloé Zhao, ‘Eternals’ will release in Indian theatres this Diwali on 5th November, 2021.
As per Marvel, ‘Eternals’ features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame’, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.

‘Eternals’ stars an ensemble cast comprising Angelina Jolie (‘Changeling’, ‘Maleficent’), Richard Madden (‘Bodyguard’, ‘Game of Thrones’), Kumail Nanjiani (‘The Bug Sick’), Lauren Ridloff (‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Sound of Metal’), Brian Tyree Henry (‘Godzilla vs Kong’, ‘The Woman in the Window’), Salma Hayek (‘Frida’, ‘Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard’), Lia McHugh (‘Totem’, ‘The Lodge’), Don Lee (‘Train to Busan’) and Kit Harrington (‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Modern Love’).
The much awaited mutli-starrer film ‘Eternals’ will be the second Marvel film since the pandemic to release in Indian theatres after the confidence gained from ‘Shang-Chi’ that came out on 3rd September and has been doing quite good.
‘Eternals’ will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam during Diwali on 5the November, 2021. It’s release is very well timed for two reasons – one, the holiday season and two, it will test the waters for Tom Holland’s highly anticipated ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ releasing a month later on 17th December, 2021.
