The first look for Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming pan Indian film ‘Kannappa’ is here and it looks ethereal. Helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, ‘Kannappa’ will release in theatres soon in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
The first look unveiled today for ‘Kannappa’ has a water body in the shape of a shiva linga surrounded by lush green mountains on all sides. In the center is a man with bow and arrow aiming upwards. The poster gives that spiritual, surreal vibe that mesmerises.
‘Kannappa’ is a fantasy drama film based on the mythological story of Kannappa, one of lord Shiva’s greatest devotee and an ultimate warrior during the 6th and 8th centuries.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, ‘Kannappa’ stars Vishnu Manchu in the titular role alongside Madhoo, R. Sarathkumar, and Mohan Babu. The film also has special appearances from Mohanlal, Prabhas and Shiva Rajkumar.
‘Kannappa’ is written by Vishnu Manchu with story development by Parchuri Gopalkrishna, Eshwar Reddy, Nageshwar Reddy and Thora Prasad. Sheldon Chau serves as the cinematographer for the film with editing by Anthony Gonsalvez. Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma have composed music for the film.
