HBO’s Euphoria fame, Nika King, has opened up about the Season 3 delay in her recent standup routine. King is best known for playing Leslie Bennett (mother of Rue and Gia Bennett) in the hit Sam Levinson show, which stars the likes of Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, and more.
King shared her thoughts about the delay in Euphoria Season 3 in one of her recent standup routines. The actress also posted the clip of her routine on TikTok. During her routine, she revealed that she failed to get an acting role after Euphoria.
Nika King also talked about Zendaya’s recent attendance at Paris Fashion Week. She joked that the Dune: Part Two fame needs to come home so that she and the rest of the show’s cast members can start working on Euphoria Season 3.
The production of Euphoria’s third season has encountered numerous obstacles, including the Hollywood strikes, the tragic death of Angus Cloud (who played Fezco O’Neill), and the busy filming schedules of many of its cast members, particularly Zendaya, Sweeney, and Elordi.
While it is unclear if Nika King was being real in her latest standup routine, there are signs of truth in her comments. The actress has not appeared in any acting project after Euphoria Season 2, which came out in 2022. On the other hand, many of her co-stars, such as Schafer, Sweeney, Elordi, Colman Domingo, and more, are actively working in Hollywood these days. However, we cannot say the same about King.
Creator Sam Levinson is working on the script of Euphoria Season 3. An official update about its release window will surface soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
