Among multiple other titles Netflix has today announced the release date of the much awaited film ‘Heart of Stone’, which marks the Hollywood debut of our very own young star Alia Bhatt. But there’s more to that and we are here to tell you everything you need to know about the spy thriller drama.
Storyline
‘Heart of Stone’ is an action thriller spy drama that follows Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot), an intelligence operative and the only woman who stands between her powerful global peacekeeping organization and the loss of its most valuable — and dangerous — asset.
Cast
Gal Gadot stars (Wonder Woman, Red Notice) opposite Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey, The Fall) as Parker and Alia Bhatt (Udta Punjab, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Gully Boy) as Keya Dhawan. ‘Heart of Stone’ cast also includes Sophie Okonedo (Death on the Nile, Wild Rose), Matthias Schweighöfer (Army of Thieves, Army of the Dead), Jing Lusi (Crazy Rich Asians, Gangs of London) and Paul Ready (Half Bad, The Terror).
Crew
The film is directed by Tom Harper (Peaky Blinders, Wild Rose) while Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder are the writers for ‘Heart of Stone’. The film is produced by Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, along with Mockingbird’s Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn, and Pilot Wave’s Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano.
Release Date
‘Heart of Stone’ will premiere on Netflix on 11th August, 2023.
