On the occasion of actor Vijay’s birthday today the makers of his mic awaited upcoming film ‘Varisu’ have launched two new looks of the star from the film. Helmed by Vamshi Paidipally, ‘Varisu’ release date was also revealed today along with the second look.
Talking about the second look of Vijay from ’Varisu’ it was quite opposite to the first look unveiled yesterday. While the first one had a serious faced Vijay in a formal attire with a corporate feel, the second has him in a casual avatar smiling and hitchhiking with a bunch of happy kids and vegetables on the back of a truck.
Coming to the third look there wasn’t much new with this one. In fact it is more like a combination of the first two. As in it brought together the expressions of the first look and the dress from the second one. This third look has him sitting on a bike with those Tibetan prayer flags tied in between the handles.
Many fans liked the third look so much that they thought that it must have been the first look instead of the one revealed yesterday. As these looks are now out, various speculations and fan theories have started floating on the net about Varisu’s probable storyline where fans can be seen trying to connect the dots between the looks.
While some suggest Vijay has a double role in the film, some think that he plays the role of a foreign return Indian guy who has come back to either serve or solve some problem in his village or protect his family or more so reunite with his love. One other fan even connected it to the 1999 film ‘Minsara Kanna’.
Titled as ‘Vaarasudu’ in Telugu, ‘Varisu’ is touted to be an action, comedy and drama filled family entertainer. Apart from Vijay the film stars ‘Pushpa’ fame Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and joining her in the cast are Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Khushbu, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, Shaam, Sangitha and Samyuktha Shanmugam among others.
‘Varisu’ is directed by ‘Maharshi’ director Vamshi Paidipally who has written it alongside Hari and Ahishor Solomon. S. Thaman is the music composer for ‘Varisu’ that is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. ‘Varisu’ is scheduled to release in cinemas on the occasion of Pongal in January 2023.
