Maaran dropped on Disney+Hotstar on 11th March. The film was highly awaited and fans showed next-level excitement for it. But, the reviews crept in and even the audience watched it. Unfortunately, the film was nothing but a fiasco as it was exceptionally boring and there was nothing concrete in it.

While the direction, action sequences and everything is getting trolled, people are not merciful on Malavika Mohanan. The actress possesses great talent and she showed that in Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds.
Needless to say, she is an easy target for disappointed fans but one thing is worth noticing. People are trolling her character much more than her. It means that the character was meant for chewing gums and there was practically nothing to do for her. It is true as well as the story was not written in a way that would do justice to her character.
Regardless, a few things that the viewers pointed out was lack of depth in her character and her cuteness was reflected by chewing excessive gums.
