Yes. You read that right. As hilarious and confusing as it may be, fans have a reasonable doubt that the next project of one of Hollywood’s most decorated directors will have a connection to HBO’s blockbuster fantasy series ‘House of The Dragon’. And what is this connection?
Feet.
Still confused? Let me explain.
Whether the shots are necessary to the scene to support the storytelling, or even if they aren’t, Tarantino seems to love having shots of his actor’s feet in his movies. From ‘Kill Bill’ to ‘Inglourious Basterds’ to the latest ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, all of these movies have such scenes and this has led to people wonder if the director has a foot fetish. And you know where else we saw a lot of weird shots of feet this year?
In ‘House of the Dragon’. As much as any of us might want to forget, THAT scene in the series has been etched into our memories. For those unversed( you lucky souls!)- for queen Alicent Hightower, a consistent ally has been the villainess Larys Strong. From plotting for her goals and even killing his father and brother, the man has done it all for the queen. And what he wants in return is a good look at her feet. Yes. And whatever you have imagined of the scene in your head, the actual scene will top it all. Yep. It’s that bad.
Now, with the rumors surrounding Tarantino, fans think foot shots will find their way into this new series as well. Here are some of the Twitter reactions:

While all this is done in just, the anticipation for the series from the creator of classics like ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Kill Bill’ film series is huge. With his unique sense of filmmaking, the director has proved his mettle time and again. With a limited series, there will be more time available for truly bringing his vision to life on screen, something that was limited in films. An 8-hour-long limited series of Tarantino brilliance. Now that is something worth looking forward to.
The series is set to start shooting next in 2023.
