Farah Khan is all set to direct a big biopic. It is no wonder that biopics are a big challenge. Not only do they have to maintain the authenticity, but also do justice to the person.
Farah Khan has taken the mammoth task to direct the biopic of Rajesh Khanna. He is too big a person to need an introduction. He was the first superstar of Bollywood and his record of giving continuous hits is still not broken.
But there is no superstar who doesn’t have any challenges. They were millions who were willing to die for him, but that never guarantees internal peace.
Dark Star – The Loneliness of Being Rajesh Khanna is a book by Gautam Chintamani that peeks into the psyche of the superstar who could not handle success. The book is immensely popular among his fans and it has the forward by his consistent heroine Sharmila Tagore.
According to sources, the biopic will be based on that book only. As of now, Nikhil Dwivedi is expected to produce the film. But we are not sure about the actors who will be playing the roles in that biopic.
This is going to be a huge challenge for this mammoth project and it will be interesting to see whatever comes out.
