‘Farzi’ is now the most viewed web series from India. It has overtaken the popular ‘The Family Man’ which is from the same director duo Raj and DK. There are many elements that led to this huge success, two of them being the wonderful screenplay and the amazing performances by Sethupathi, Shahid and Kay Kay Menon.
Raj and DK are very trusted directors and they have proved the quality of their stories again and again. But we must acknowledge that Prime Video India put a lot of time and effort in the promotions for the show and it played a major role in reaching the right audience. The show is a huge success in the overseas market too. More and more people are now aware of the Raj and DK universe and there is a huge eagerness for The Family Man S3. The show ended on a nice cliffhanger and now the curiosity of Shrikanth Tiwari’s personal story is now added with the curiosity of how Sandeep and Firoz’s story go forward.
Farzi has made a clear ground for the third season of The Family Man. There will most probably be a crossover between the two shows too now. With the cameo of Chellam Sir and the phone call between Michael and Tiwari, we all now know that Farzi and The Family Man are from the same universe. In the third season we will probably see Tiwari investigating international terrorists with Michael by his side. The success of Farzi has paved a way for huge anticipation for the show. International fans too are now eagerly waiting for season three of the Manoj Bajpayee starrer series.
