Dwayne Johnson will not return in Fast 10
It seems like Johnson’s recent remarks about Diesel’s “manipulative” statements has reignited their real-life rivalry. In November last year, the former posted a video as an invitation for Johnson to join the franchise again. He called him “Pablo”, meaning little brother, and added, “the time has come”. But Johnson added more fuel to the rivalry by declaring that Diesel’s post was nothing but manipulation. Additionally, he has no intentions of joining the production of future F&F projects.
Will we see Meadow Walker in a cameo appearance in the movie?
The tragic death of Paul Walker still aches the hearts of the Fast & Furious fans. And a majority of them have expressed their desire to see the actor’s only daughter, Meadow Walker, as a part of the F&F family in future entries. However, Meadow is a model now. Plus, she has worked with DNA Models and Soma Sara in an anti-rape movement, Everyone’s Invited.
Fans may see Meadow in a small cameo appearance in Fast 10.
What about John Cena’s return as Jakob Toretto?
F9 introduced the long-forgotten member of the Toretto family, Jakob. Dom blamed him for their father’s death during a car race. But Jakob revealed that their father asked him to tamper with his car. He was unable to escape from his heavy loans. That scenario forced their father to end his life in the form of a car accident.
In the end, Jakob reunites with Dom and helps him in butchering Cipher’s plan. We know how seriously the F&F family takes the concept of a family. That’s why it is impossible to imagine Fast 10 without Jakob Torretto. We may witness him in an extended cameo appearance in the film.
Jason Momoa is in talks to play the big baddie in Fast 10
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the on-screen Aquaman, Jason Momoa, is in talks to portray a villain in the upcoming tenth instalment of Fast & Furious. Will he team up with Charlize Theron’s Cipher? Well, we don’t know about that.
Cipher failed to kill Dom and his team in The Fate of the Furious and F9. Her failures may force her to shake hands with Momoa’s character to finish Dom for good. It seems unlikely that the makers will turn her into a face as they did with Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). But anything can happen in this franchise. And we mean anything! We still can’t believe that they shot up a racing car into space!
What about Han vs Shaw battle?
The end-credits scene of Fast and Furious 6 shocked the fans with the death of beloved Han. Everyone thought that Deckard Shaw was responsible for his demise. But Han’s surprising appearance in F9 made it clear that he was alive after all this time. Mr Nobody (Kurt Russell) helped him in framing his death.
Will we see Han going one-on-one with Shaw to settle the score? Or will we witness an unusual union of these two notable characters in the upcoming movie? We will find out soon!
Fast 10’s release date
The forthcoming addition to the Fast saga will arrive in theatres on May 19, 2023, with Justin Lin at the helm. Furthermore, he will direct the final part of the franchise too.
