A few things are not destined to end well. When makers try to unnecessarily stretch a movie series than that usually happens. A recent example is The Matrix Resurrections and there are tons of others.
But there is hardly any more brutal example than the “Fast And Furious” series. It was started on a great note with the first instalment, slowly polluting itself.
The last film in the franchise called “F9” was brutally lashed out at for being absolutely absurd and cringeworthy but Universal Pictures is in no mood of shelving the series.
Just a few days back, the makers announced the release date of the film with a poster.
It said that the film will hit the theatres on 19th May 2023.
But now it has been stricken by a bolt and looks like it may get delayed. The director of the series, “Justin Lin” has decided to step down as the director of the film series.
But that applies to only his direction part as he is still associated with the franchise. He will continue to serve as the Producer of the film.
He said that as someone of the “Asian” origin, he made the most diverse film franchise of all time and is confident that he has shot some of the best scenes.
Regardless, stay tuned to Binged as we will let you know any update from the franchise that comes along the way.
