Yes, we all know Irrfan Khan’s eldest son Babil Khan was roped in earlier for an upcoming project that would be produced by Anushka Sharma. The movie would have Babil Khan in the lead and opposite Tripti Dimri. Now, news has come in and it’s news for every Irrfan Khan admirer out there, who has been showering their support and love over his son. It looks like Babil Khan has been roped in for yet another project with Ronnie Lahiri and Shoojit Sircar helming the project.
Ronnie Lahiri took to Instagram today and shared a photo with Shoojit Sircar and Babil in it. He captioned it, “Honoured to take forward your legacy Irrfan sir. Worked with a legend like you and now Babil. If this is not Providence, what is?”
The post, sure, is emotional in every sense for everyone. This shows how much of an impact Irrfan Khan had on people and how much he was loved in the industry. In his lifetime, he has worked with a bunch of writers, directors, producers, and fellow actors and it seems that he has left an impact on everyone’s life. Now and then someone or other posts something positive about their experiences with him and it makes us even sadder knowing that we won’t get more of him, but maybe we will be seeing him through Babil as he displays his skills in his upcoming projects.
As for Ronnie Lahiri and Shoojit Sircar, both have worked with Irrfan Khan on Piku as a producer and director for the movie. Besides that, both of them have worked together as Producer and Director duo for films like October, Gulabo Sitabo, Pink, Madras Café, Vicky Donor, and the upcoming Sardar Udham Singh along with others.
