Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has completed the shooting of his upcoming ZEE5 web series. The makers have not yet revealed the title of the show. But they will do it soon. This show is a part of the Zindagi channel, owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. And now, the viewers can watch it on the ZEE5 streaming platform as well. Prominent Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed is the female lead of the show. And Asim Abbasi is helming this one. The British-Pakistani director is known to helm Cake (2018). This movie was selected as the official Pakistani entry for the 91st Academy Awards. However, it didn’t get nominated.
This is what Abbasi said after wrapping up the shoot of this forthcoming series: “This is a very personal project for me. The shoot which spanned for over five months has been the most challenging experience of my life but also the most rewarding. The ensemble has done a beautiful job, and given some career-best performances.”
The upcoming Pakistani series explores the love and loss of all the characters. Most of the shooting has taken place in Karachi and the Hunza valley region.
Fawad Khan is also known for starring in many Bollywood projects like Khoobsurat, Kapoor & Sons, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Plus, he is busy filming The Legend of Maula Jatt, Money Back Guarantee, Neelofar, and Aan. Furthermore, he has also starred in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series, Ms Marvel. The actor has returned with Sanam Saeed after a long gap of 10 years for the forthcoming ZEE5 show. They both were a part of Zindagi Gulzar Hai. This show took them to new heights of popularity in Pakistan.
