Malayalam Film Industry has mastered the making of feel-good entertainers. While the films have been produced at controlled budgets, the content stood out among the bigger other language films released directly on OTT. The audience was attracted by the rooted stories and how reality was depicted with subtlety in the movies.
The movies may not have huge sets or actors who were known nationwide, but these movies made them well known throughout the country. This weekend, here are our recommendations of feel-good Malayalam movies and where to screen them.

Biju Poulose (Nivin Pauly) leaves his teaching job to pursue his dream of serving in the police force. Posted as the sub-inspector in Cochin, he has to handle notorious criminals who indulge in unlawful activities.
Vijay Superum Pournamiyum(2019) – ManoramaMAX
This is the story of how Vijay (Asif Ali), an engineering graduate who yearns to be a restauranteur meets Pournami (Aishwarya Lekshmi), an MBA graduate and aspiring entrepreneur. With polar opposite personalities, the two decide to begin their own business venture.
