Presented by Anurag Kashyap and having been screened at multiple film festivals across the world, ‘Goldfish’ has now got a release date. Helmed by Pushkar Kriplani, ‘Goldfish’ will release in cinemas worldwide on 25th August, 2023.
‘Goldfish’ follows the story of a young woman who returns home to deal with her mother’s dementia and the scars of her childhood, with help from a neighbour and a past she has shunned.
Pushkar Kriplani (‘The Threshold’) directs ‘Goldfish’ which he has written with Arghya Lahiri. The film stars Kalki Koechlin, Deepti Naval, Rajit Kapur, Bharti Patel, Ravin J Ganatra and Gordon Warnecke among others.
‘Goldfish’ had its world premiere at the 27th Busan International Film Festival in 2022. It also featured in Raindance Film Festival, 17th Tasveer South Asian Film Festival, 53rd International Film Festival Of India Goa, New York Indian Film Festival 2023 and Indie Meme Film Festival 2023.
