John Abraham’s latest theatrical release ‘The Diplomat’ has been postponed and will now hit the big screens on 14th March, 2025 instead of the previously announced 7th March, 2025.
The makers are trying to capture the Holi holiday weekend slot for better outcomes, but is that going to be enough to save John Abraham and his ‘The Diplomat’?
Given the past flops from the action star, moviegoers don’t seem to be very excited about ‘The Diplomat’ and subsequently the buzz for the film is really low.
Moreover, the makers don’t seem to have much hope from it either as seen with little promotional campaign done for the film till now.
While technical reasons may be sighted for the delay, it probably is this poor buzz that has made the producers take the desperate step to postpone ‘The Diplomat’ and try to cash in from the holiday slot.
There is also a belief that the film has been postponed to avoid any overshadowing by Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’ which is currently running strongly in theatres. Although this thought seems a bit stretched out given the gap between their earlier planned releases.
