FIFA World Cup is now happening in Qatar and nothing can be better than this for Football lovers. You might be aware that although football is not that popular in India, the fandom is big enough that streaming services should take them seriously.
The digital rights of the game went to Jio Cinema and they didn’t show any mercy to the viewers. If you are unaware then it is usually Disney+Hotstar that streams cricket, currently even Prime Video is actively doing the same.
But they offer really good service. A number of complaints about their service are mostly negligible.
About SonyLIV, Binged has reported that their game streaming service is terrible as bugs often hamper the frame rates and overall UI.
Unfortunately, Jio Cinema doesn’t seem to have learned any lesson from the same. Even after having such an enormous responsibility of streaming FIFA, there are hundreds, if not thousands of complaints against the platform.
They simply failed to provide any decent service. Frame rates and UI response almost choked during the match.
It is as if Jio Cinema didn’t even expect a sudden rise of viewers on their platform. Although they have promised to improve their service, only time can tell if it’s really true.
Problem occurred from first minute to last… what's your team was doing? #Ambani

My expectation of @JioCinema being completely fixed before the @England game is the same as my expectation of my mental health being fixed as soon as I clean my room.#FIFAWorldCup
