Fighter is soaring and roaring on Netflix India. The movie starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles was a big success at the box office. The numbers could have been a lot higher but the outdated story and lack of hand to hand combat gave a sort of dissatisfaction to the audience.
But, the film is now available on OTT and so it is for every kind of criticism. Some would definitely mourn the loss of missing it in the theatres and some would hate it no matter what. Others are bound to compare it to Top Gun.
But, what about the overall reception of Fighter on Netflix? Are the people loving it or are they despising it?
Well, there is no straight answer. It is a twisted path and there are polarizing reactions. The audience loves the concept and they are just disappointed by the overall laziness the writers show in this film.
The character of Deepika Padukone doesn’t add much depth and the lead guy is just too unrealistic. Needless to say, the Air Force can’t possibly be doing the kind of favouritism that is shown in the film towards the main character.
Overall, Fighter for the OTT audience is a one-time watch if you are into commercial cinema.
