The winners of the 2022 edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards have been announced in a recently held star-studded ceremony. The ‘Best Series’ award has been bagged by the critically acclaimed show ‘Rocket Boys’, which has also won the ‘Best Director (Series)’ award for Abhay Pannu. While the ‘Best Series (Critics) award was given to the truly deserved drama thriller ‘Tabbar’.
On the movies front, Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘Dasvi’ has been awarded with the ‘Best Film, Web Original’ award. And the ‘Best Actor, Web Original Film’ and ‘Best Actress, Web Original Film Male’ and ‘Best Actress, Web Original Film Female’ awards have been bagged by Abhishek Bachchan for ‘Dasvi’ and Taapsee Pannu for ‘Looop Lapeta’, respectively.
You’ll see below that the two series ‘Rocket Boys’ and ‘Tabbar’ are leading with the maximum number of Filmfare OTT awards (eight awards each). And OTT platform wise, SonyLIV is the undisputed champion as it has bagged a whopping number of 19 awards followed by Netflix (9) and Amazon Prime Video (6).
