Binged informed its readers that Marvel has again changed the name of their Agatha series. But look what happened, it has been changed again. Yes, thankfully we got a release date this time.
Marvel fans have been eagerly awaiting news about the upcoming series starring Kathryn Hahn, and now they finally have it: the show’s official title is “Agatha All Along.” Let’s hope that this is the final title.
The series is set to premiere on September 18th, with the first two episodes launching simultaneously, following Marvel’s standard format of one episode each week.
Originally announced in 2021, the series underwent multiple title changes, including “House of Harkness,” “Darkhold Diaries,” and “Coven of Chaos.” Marvel even poked fun at the constant changes, with titles like “Agatha: The Lying Witch with the Great Wardrobe” circulating on social media.
The new title, “Agatha All Along,” pays homage to the viral theme song from the seventh episode of “WandaVision,” which became a sensation in its own right and earned composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez an Emmy award.
Starring alongside Hahn are Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, Emma Caulfield, and Debra Jo Rupp.
The series was delayed due to actors’ and writers’ strikes. Marvel’s presentation also teased upcoming projects like “Ironheart” and “Daredevil: Born Again,” confirming a March 2025 release for the latter.
