Finally An Update On Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop Series Adaptation Is Here!

Cowboy Bebop, an anime that has become a cult series ever since it was released, was supposedly getting a live-action adaptation. Netflix has been all set to bring to life this amazing story of the legendary anime. The news about this series adaptation made headlines the moment it was announced by Netflix. Though nothing could beat the anime, fans were eagerly waiting for the series to drop. Fans were expecting it to come sooner, but it has been nearly 3 years since its announcements but there have been no signs of it.

Finally now it is being reported that the shoot for the season 1 of the much anticipated series has ended and will soon go into post production. This comes directly from Daniella Pineda, one of the leading stars of the series. She recently took to her social media page to announce that show has finally wrapped up the shoot.

The series casted its actors 6 months after the announcement and the shoot followed very soon. But it looked like the series was supposed to be delayed as one of the leading actors from the show injured himself and had to undergo surgery in the later months of 2019.

Even before the series could revive from it, the pandemic hit hard and everything went downhill since then, as productions stopped all over the world. Netflix ordered for a 10 episode Season 1 for the series and casted Daniella Pineda, John Cho, Mustafa Shakir and Alex Hassell as the leads for the same. The shoot for the show resumed in September in New Zealand and it was one of the very few shows that were given permission by the authorities from New Zealand to resume the shoot and stay within the boundaries of the country.

Coming to the series, the show will follow the same lead as that of the anime. The series will tell the story of these bounty hunters who are on the run from their past, while they catch dangerous criminals on the way to protect the world. Cowboy Bebop has been helmed to be one of the best anime that fuses jazz and music with the ongoing action.

Cowboy Bebop has had a fan following for a long time and we are sure that everyone is excited how Netflix executes and if it gets even better than the anime. Though the shoot has wrapped up, it is still unclear as to when the series will grace the streaming service. The makers behind the series are the same that has created the legendary anime, so we can definitely expect the live action adaptation to be something really good.
