It seems that Salman Khan is finally ready to move on from the Pakistani singers being banned in India. He will now collaborate with Arijit Singh, with whom he was rumored to be in a rift.
Salman Khan had most of his hit songs of the past few years from Atif Aslam or Raahat Fateh Ali Khan. For example, ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ from Tiger Zinda Hai was one of the biggest hits of the year. So, when after the Pulwama attack, there were huge protests to ban Pakistani artists from India, Salman Khan’s playlist was left with a void. It looks like the void will finally be covered.
Salman and Arijit were rumoured to be in a dispute over a 2014 awards show. And reportedly, Salman Khan rejected many Arijit Singh songs in his movies. It is said that even ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ was recorded by Arijit And then rejected.
The catchy songs with viral steps of Salman are big reasons to watch his movies. The playlist is definitely one of the USPs in a Bollywood movie. Looks like Bhaijaan has suffered long, and he truly wants Tiger 3 to be a massive comeback. So he deploys all his might, forgetting all past rifts.
Arijit Singh sings two songs in the movie. One is ‘Leke Prabhu Ka Naam’ which is a dance number and the other will be a romantic song. Music director Pritam has said, “It was a collaboration that was waiting to happen. Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars and Arijit Singh, our generation’s top singing sensation. These two stalwarts coming together for a song was long overdue and we are thrilled that it is happening for ‘Tiger 3.’”
