Fans of the uber-popular Apple TV Plus series ‘Ted Lasso’ finally have an update on the tentative release date of the much-awaited Season 3 of the show. Apple TV Plus dropped the first look for ‘Ted Lasso Season 3’ on its social media handles in the wee hours of the morning, India time. The streamer also shared a tentative streaming window for Ted Lasso S3. The new season of Ted Lasso will premiere in spring on Apple TV Plus. So it could be anytime in the months of March, April or May, which is when it is spring in the West.
The first look of Ted Lasso Season 3 is an interesting and exciting one. It shows a genial and smiling Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) and a still-belligerent Nathan Shelley (Nick Mohammed) facing off against each other. Ted Lasso Season 2 ended with Nathan, aka Nate, leaving AFC Richmond in a huff and joining rival team West Ham United F.C. as its head coach. Ted Lasso Season 3 will obviously have AFC Richmond head coach Ted Lasso and his erstwhile assistant Nate locking horns in crucial matches.
For those who don’t know, Ted Lasso is the heartwarming and outrageously funny story of the unassuming, affable small-time football coach, Ted Lasso, who is unexpectedly recruited to coach an English Premier League team, AFC Richmond, despite having no experience in association football. Slowly and steadily, Ted worms his way into the hearts of his players, the media and the team’s owner, while restoring the confidence of his players in their own abilities and playing as a team.
Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed, Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Toheeb Jimoh, James Lance, Cristo Fernández, among others, return in Ted Lasso Season 3 to reprise their roles from the previous seasons. Brett Goldstein and Bill Lawrence are the creators of the show.
