On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri today, makers of the much awaited tentpole venture ‘Project K’ have finally unveiled the release date for the film. First of the two part film series and helmed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Project K’ is slated for release next year.
Announced on the 50th year celebration of Vyjayanthi Movies production house, ‘Project K’ is touted to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The film belongs to the science fiction genre but meanwhile further updates about its storyline have been kept under wraps.
Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Project K’ has an A-list star cast led by Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The film has been in the making for quite some time now but its release was delayed due to the pandemic.
‘Project K’ has musical score from Mickey J. Meyer (‘Happy Days’, ‘A Aa’) and cinematography by Dani Sanchez Lopez. The film is produced by C. Aswani Dutt under his banner Vyjayanthi Movies. As announced today ‘Project K’ will now release in theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on 12th January, 2024.
