The latest patriotic film Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, is all set to release on OTT. After a moderate theatrical run since January 24, 2025, the film will now be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from March 21.
Two weeks back the movie arrived on the Prime Video Store but now is the time for it to stream without any extra charges.
Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force tells the story of India’s first airstrike during the 1965 Indo-Pak war. The movie is packed with action, patriotism, and intense aerial combat sequences. Akshay Kumar plays a fearless Air Force officer, while Veer Pahariya makes his big-screen debut in a key role.
But there is a massive problem. None of this works.
The movie is an utter fiasco in invoking the emotions it needs and that is why audiences failed to connect with it even though it was high on patriotism.
Amazon Prime Video India confirmed the release with a post on Instagram.
Fans were excited about Sky Force because of its powerful subject, however, a weak screenplay holds it back. The story, which should have been a thrilling tribute to the Indian Air Force, felt predictable and lacking in depth.
If you still want to watch it, turn up Prime Video tomorrow.
