The Buckingham Murders premiered on 8th November on the Netflix India platform. The film was supposed to be released in two versions, Hinglish and a dubbed Hindi version. The Indian users were able to access the dubbed Hindi version of the film only. Due to this, the authentic feel of the film was shattered. The audience gave a cold response to this.
The director of the film Hansal Mehta quickly responded on Twitter. . He said that “Due to a technical error on the service @NetflixIndia will be uploading the original language version in a few hours. He thanked the audience for their patience.He also explained how it could be irritating to watch a dubbed version of the film. He assured the audience that Netflix India would upload the original version as soon as possible. As of now, Netflix has released the original version.
Mehta posted on Twitter that 22 hours after the issue was resolved. A technical issue has been resolved. “The Buckingham Murders” is finally on @NetflixIndia.either in Hinglish or the original Hindi version.
