The Witcher has been one of the tentpole titles at Netflix. The series was widely popular among the global audience and it deserved every bit of that. But, it had already started to get unbearable. The last season was badly received and it would continue to go bad. Because the subsequent seasons would not feature Henry Cavill.
So there is a big news on the way. Season 5 will be the final one, so it’s going to be a big one!
But here’s the twist: Season 4 is already in the works, and they’re even filming it right after Season 5. Also, the new face in the lead role: Liam Hemsworth is taking over from Henry Cavill.
To give us a sneak peek, Netflix shared a video of the cast reading through the script for Season 4. It’s got Hemsworth, along with familiar faces like Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan.
These new seasons will cover the stories from the remaining “Witcher” books. We’ve still got a bit of waiting to do for Season 4’s release date, though.
