Earlier in the year reports came out that Vijay Deverakonda has signed his next film with the mass director Puri Jagannadh and fans couldn’t keep calm. It was like a dream come true moment was the actor’s fans and for the genuine cinema fans. Vijay is loved in the south and the amount of success he has achieved in the minimal time is worth mentioning. And now in the digital era where the language barrier in the films is diminishing day by day, Vijay has created a followings in all over India despite doing a Hindi feature film.
Last year Karan Johar acquired the Hindi remake rights of Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade and was impressed by the actor to an extent that he wanted to launch him in his next production venture in a proper Hindi film. Now Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming film Fighter is being co produced by Johar’s Dharma Production which will release as a multilingual film and is being shot in both Hindi and Telugu.
The makers casted Ananya Pandey as the female lead opposite Vijay in the movie and the preps regarding the movie was underway. But due to Coronavirus and restrictions in shooting the movie was out on hold for almost five months. Now things slowly getting better, Karan has decided to move ahead with the shooting of Fighter and reportedly he is so invested in this project that all of his other works have been put on hold.
Vijay on the other hand has been working hard to get into the zone of the character he is playing which is of a fighter. The cast and crew are all set to resume the shooting from the coming months and it will be very exciting to see how this one turns out!
