Vicky Kaushal’s hit 2023 movie ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ has been disappointing fans with its consistent no-show on OTT. One of the most awaited movies in the streaming space, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has played hide-and-seek with OTT viewers for almost a year now. For those who have forgotten, the film had hit theatres on 2nd June, 2023.
But now it seems viewers’ patience is about to be rewarded. Coz Zara Hatke Zara Bachke might very well land on Jio Cinema soon – as soon as May.
Regular readers of Binged will know that Jio Cinema has just launched a new revamped version of itself from today. New premium subscription plans offer a chance to subscribers to watch their favourite content ad-free. Frequent breaks for advertisements every few minutes during shows and movies was a major pain point with subscribers of Jio Cinema. That will hopefully be a thing of the past.
Along with the new subscription plans, Jio Cinema has also promised premieres of blockbuster movies every month. Yes, Jio Cinema had promised the same thing last year too, at the time of its launch. It had held a much-publicised OTT premiere of Bloody Daddy then.
This time too, Jio Cinema has made its intentions quite clear by premiering ‘Yaariyan 2’ on its platform this morning. It was another long-awaited movie on OTT, whose streaming rights were languishing with Jio Cinema since long—just like Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Let’s hope Jio Cinema sticks to its promise this time around.
Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is tipped to have a grand OTT release on Jio Cinema in May, as per some reports in the media.
Let’s see if it really happens this time, or is the new revamped version of Jio Cinema another flash in the pan from the platform!
