First look and official announcement of director Abhinav Thakur’s (‘Junko’, ‘Yatharth’) next film ‘Backwaters’ is here. An investigative thriller film from Suunil Jain, Ashish Arjun Gaikar and Ankit Chandiramani, ‘Backwaters’ is based on Kerala’s missing children.
The first look poster was released on the story of the official Instagram page of ‘Blackwaters’ movie. The poster shows a dark and gloomy scene of the Kerala backwaters with a few police officers onboard a police boat. The poster also features a silhouette of the backside of a kid’s bust with ‘No one ever just disappears.’ written on it.
‘Blackwaters’ will star Sartaazh Khari and Neeta Paryani in the lead. It will be produced by Suunil Jain Productions and Sunshine Studios in association with AGFS. S Ramachandran will serve as the co-producer for the film.
