Prime Video has unveiled the first look images for one of its highly awaited upcoming original series ‘The Power’ and they are pretty fascinating just like the show’s premise. Coming from ‘Chernobyl’ creators, ‘The Power’ will premiere on Prime Video this March.
Based on British author Naomi Alderman’s award-winning novel, ‘The Power’ is set in today’s world but with a twist. In this alternate world, suddenly, and without warning, teenage girls develop the power to electrocute people at will.
The series features a cast of remarkable characters from London to Seattle, Nigeria to Eastern Europe, as the Power evolves from a tingle in teenagers’ collarbones to a complete reversal of the power balance of the world.
This latest Prime Video series is touted to be a global one, loaded with emotions and the first look images portray just that. There’s fear, mystery, drama, surrealism, fantasy, power and a lot more that comes across the viewers with these looks from ‘The Power’.
Produced by Amazon Studios and SISTERS (‘Chernobyl’), ‘The Power’ is showrun by Raelle Tucker (‘True Blood’) and stars Toni Collette stars as Mayor Margot Cleary-Lopez, alongside John Leguizamo as Rob Lopez, Auli’i Cravalho as Jos Cleary-Lopez, Toheeb Jimoh as Tunde Ojo, Josh Charles as Daniel Dandon, Eddie Marsan as Bernie Monke, Ria Zmitrowicz as Roxy Monke, Zrinka Cvitešić as Tatiana Moskalev, Halle Bush as Allie Montgomery, and more.
