Amazon Prime Video‘s biggest series yet, The Rings Of Power is just a few days away from getting released. The series is based on the epic fantasy book series called The Lord Of The Rings.
The book was adapted into a film series back in the early 2000s and it is still considered one of the greatest trilogies to be ever made.
When Prime Video decided to make a series on the same then it had two humongous challenges to meet. Not only does it have to deliver an insane and unprecedented visual extravaganza.
But, also to do justice to the film series fans. There is no doubt that there was unnecessary hate for the series even before it began promotions.
But it looks like the immense investment by Prime Video is all worth it. The reviews have started pouring in and it is unprecedented.
The critics who were given access to the first two episodes of the series are hailing the visuals and presentation of the series.
Calling the series a masterpiece would be an exaggeration as it is just a starter and there are a lot of things that may come in the next episodes.
But one thing is for sure, Prime Video was hardly considered a good platform for originals outside India. They have very few originals like Jack Reacher which could garner mere attention from the audience.
But this one can be a complete game changer for them. Let’s wait for what happens.
Have seen the first 2 episodes of the @primevideo's #LordOfTheRings series. Prepare to be blown away by the scale and scope of #TheRingsofPower. I don’t know how they managed to pull this off, but they made a ‘Lord of the Rings’ show that feels like ‘Lord of the Rings.’ ½ pic.twitter.com/OTZjH41WTS

The Lord Of The Rings: #TheRingsOfPower is an ACHIEVEMENT in cinematic storytelling that REDEFINES what’s possible for television. Immersive & EPIC, the interconnected worlds of Tolkien feel GRAND and fully realized. Absolutely MESMERIZING. @LOTRonPrime @PrimeVideoCA @PrimeVideo pic.twitter.com/A5fWUMX17b

I've seen the first 2 episodes of #LordOfTheRings #TheRingsOfPower. It is stunningly gorgeous to look at, and the score is beautiful. It also takes a while to get going, and there's a LOT going on. But for fans of the movies, it'll take you right back at points once it's rolling.
