Disney Plus Hotstar released the first teaser for Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran‘s upcoming film, ‘Bro Daddy‘. As anticipated, the film is an out and out comic caper, with Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran playing a naughty father and son pair that will grab every opportunity to pull a fast one on near and dear ones, whenever an opportunity presents itself.
Mohanlal is adorable as the proud husband of an elegant woman who was the object of adoration of several suitors in her younger days. He is even more adorable when he recounts the story to his son, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The father and son rabble-rouse and think up new ways of mischief, with hilarious outcomes. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal come across as the most chilled out pair of father and son. The two appear to be buddies more than parent and child.
Bro Daddy has decided to skip theatres and premiere directly on digital, on Disney Plus Hotstar. Bro Daddy is produced by Antony Perumbavoor through Aashirvad Cinemas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, under his banner Prithviraj Productions. Prithviraj Sukumaran is also directing the film, from the screenplay by Sreejith.N and Bibin Maliekal. The film also features an ensemble cast including Meena, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Unni Mukundan, Lalu Alex, Murali Gopy, Kaniha and Soubin Shahir.
Disney Plus Hotstar hasn’t yet revealed a release date for Bro Daddy. But we think the film will be a Sankranti release on the platform.
