The first two episodes of the American sitcom ‘Not Dead Yet’ are available to watch on Disney+Hotstar now. It is created by David Windsor and Casey Johnson. It is adapted from the book ‘Confessions of a Forty-Something F**k Up’ by Alexandra Potter. The series is an ABC original and the first episode premiered on ABC on the 8th February.
It stars actors like Gina Rodriguez, Hannah Simone, Lauren Ash, Rick Glassman, Josh Banday and Angela E. Gibbs. The pilot episode is directed by Dean Holland. The first few episodes are named ‘Pilot’, ‘Not A Tiger Yet’, ‘Not Out Of High School’, ‘Not Dating Yet’ and ‘Not Moving On Yet’.
The series tells the story of Nell Serrano, who is broke and single and wants to go back to the job she had ten years ago. She starts feeling very old and starts writing obituaries as a way of earning her bread. In the meantime, she gets strange advices from someone.
It is a comedy and there are many fans in India who like sitcoms way too much. ‘Not Dead Yet’ will most probably be able to find a audience here in India as well and make a fan base. There is the news of only one season of the show up until now, but hopefully there will be announcements of further seasons soon.
