Netflix has dropped the trailer for its upcoming new series ‘Florida Man’ and its one thrilling ride. Helmed by Donald Todd, ‘Florida man’ will premiere only on Netflix on 13th April, 2023.
‘Florida Man’ trailer follows Mike Valentine (Edgar Ramírez), a recovering gambling addict who reluctantly returns to his home state when mob boss Moss (Emory Cohen) sends him to find his missing girlfriend, Delly (Abbey Lee). In return Mike wants all his debts cleared, to which Moss agrees.
But once he gets there and discovers the whereabouts of Delly, Mike gets into something that he did not expect to turn out the way it did. Also, he finds out that he can’t quite escape the hometown he tried to leave behind.
Mike Valentine is a man who’s stuck in the middle of two lives — an ex-cop and ex-gambler who’s trying to make good but who’s still indebted to a mobster. And what follows is nothing less dangerous and complicated.
‘Florida Man’ is a new Netflix limited series from creator and show runner Donald Todd (‘Ugly Betty’, ‘ This Is Us’) that follows a struggling ex-cop forced to return to his home state of Florida to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend. What should be a quick gig becomes a wildly spiraling journey into buried family secrets, and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong.
In addition to Edgar Ramírez, ‘Florida Man’ also stars Abbey Lee, Anthony LaPaglia, Otmara Marrero, Lex Scott Davis, Emory Cohen, Clark Gregg, Isaiah Johnson, Paul Schneider and Lauren Buglioli.
Produced by Jason Bateman’s Aggregate Films, ‘Florida Man’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 13th April, 2023.
