
Criminal Justice, the official remake of BBC Television series of the same name is all set to return for the second season. While this is a known detail, the latest update is regarding the lead of the show.
Kriti Kulhari who is currently basking in the limelight of Four More Shots Please is roped in to head Criminal Justice 2. The story will track her trail as she plays a woman who stabs the husband after suffering a lot of abuse. Pankaj Tripathi, Mita Vashist, and Anupriya Goenka will reprise their roles from the original.
After making a splash across the board for the performance in Pink, Kriti Kulhari is making the right choices. The digital medium is giving her the right opportunities with big-ticket series in her kitty. Kriti will be later seen playing a crucial role in The Girl On The Train Bollywood remake.
Apart from the lead, the directors too have been replaced for the new season. Rohan Sippy and Arjun Mukharjee will be directing the second season. Tigmanshu Dhulia and Vishal Furia helmed the previous one. It needs to be seen if Shridhar Raghavan will be retained for the screenplay or not.
Criminal Justice is a BBC Studio India and Applause Entertainment joint production. The shooting has commenced sometime back, but it is currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will resume after the favourable conditions are back for the shoots to take place.
