Warner Bros has dropped the first official trailer of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth.
The upcoming George Miller directional feature will serve as a spin-off to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), focusing on the origins of Imperator Furiosa. We will get an action-packed epic, thanks to an outstanding trailer that shows Taylor-Joy’s Furiosa and an unrecognisable yet amazing Chris Hemsworth’s Dementus.
Furiosa gets abducted from the Green Place of Many Mothers at a young age. After gaining numerous fighting skills and surviving several trials, she attempts to go back to her home through the Wasteland. Her mission forces her to face off against Hemsworth’s villainous Dementus.
The recent clip does not reveal too much of Furiosa’s storyline. Although, it does mention that the story takes place 45 years after the fall of human civilisation. We also see the protagonist making a promise about returning home. However, she accomplishes this feat in Fury Road (2015). In addition, we will see Furiosa trying to protect a child in the Wasteland.
Furiosa trailer also reveals Chris Hemsworth’s villainous character, Dementus, the leader of a bike horde. It will be interesting to see how much of a threat Dementus poses in the film. Moreover, we see the younger version of Immorton Joe. Apart from Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, the film stars Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, Daniel Webber, and more.
